About Angie
Angie is a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker and Registered Play Therapist. She was awarded a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Washburn University in 2009 and has gone on to work in a variety of mental health care settings. Angie utilizes her training in Cognitive Behavioral Techniques, Play Therapy, Sandtray Therapy, EMDR (Eye Movement, Desensitization and Reprocessing), Brainspotting and Mindfulness techniques to create a tailored approach to help each person find peace in their present and hope for their future. She works with children and adults specializing in the treatment of anxiety, depression, trauma (including domestic violence, sexual abuse, physical abuse and neglect) and marriage and parenting struggles. Additionally, she is a Gottman approved facilitator of the Bringing Baby Home parent education curriculum.

Angie accepts Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, and Medicaid (Sunflower, United, and Aetna) plans. She also sees clients on a self-pay basis and offers sliding scale fees.
